Witness

Look at the world,

Look at the stars.

And see.

Everything in motion.

Sometimes everything seems so fine

Not so cruel like I thought.

When you send your messengers to me

With your love,

They say nothing,

Yet I am so overjoyed.

Their tender heart dissolves this cold world,

Or maybe I was the cold one,

Living in my own dark nights.

Yet they come and go,

I am still left for myself.

Are they announcing your arrival,

In a time imminent.

The trees and wind tell me the same.

This river is flowing so rapidly,

No stopping,

Jagannath

The stars have seen it,

A witness.

So close your eyes,

Say a prayer,

A prayer of thankfulness.

A prayer of belonging.
