A river

You come to me in silent dreams

Erasing your memories each time we part

Yet your waves remain

After the twilight hours

We meet in all places

Once we were standing on a pier

Looking down at the flowing waters

You know it's a male river

Are you stating a fact or?

Do you see the river raging

I see a lot of things, and?

I'm not stating anything

I don't like facts, no sense

I see a river raging

 And?

Like a man's blood

A raging so serene

When he sees someone so beautiful

Like the stars above

You a poet?

No, only a man

Who sees and beholds

I know you, you see

See the river, seems so quiet from above, hm?

I don't know you, yet you seem to know me

I know you like the stars know, see?

Yet you keep me in this longing

So much time has transpired

Yet it feels like yesterday

When I last saw you

So will I meet you again then, same place

You seem funny, its never the same place

And never the same time
